Making the case for jQuery to a PhD in Comp Science
I work in a large computer programming house and while I love the people I work with, one senior manager whom I get along well with does not support the concept of JavaScript frameworks at all and thinks you should do everything from scratch. He has an academic computer science background.
I am a UI/UX person and have a hard time making an argument to him that he respects because I do not have the same background in computer science. Are there good academic papers out there or articles for developers and computer science people making that case. Is this a common problem?
Is this a common problem for people out there and how to you overcome it?
Thanks,
