Mediawiki docs: Post code snippets?

Mediawiki docs: Post code snippets?

I just tried to post a code snippet (html and js) into the wiki at
docs.jquery.com. But I can't figure out how to prevent the html markup
being rendered. Any hints? See
http://docs.jquery.com/Cookbook/Navigation when someone whants to try
editing.
