min vs pack

min vs pack

<html><body style="word-wrap: break-word; -webkit-nbsp-mode: space; -webkit-line-break: after-white-space; ">Sorry I'm on the list so much, it's just a cyclical thing I think.  I'm hoping someone can tell me why  you would ever choose to use min instead of pack.  The reason I ask is that pack is significantly smaller (in my case) while I can't really use either for debugging purposes.  At what point in my development cycle in min better than pack?
