Modal Property not working in ie

Hi,
The property modal in dialog plugin, when set to true is not
working in ie7. Same is working fine with firefox3. But if the overlay
properties are set, then modal property is working in ie7.
Also Drop down menus are appearing above the background layer in
ie6(well knowm bug). Will this bug be fixed in the further release of
ui.dialog?
