Move dimensions to core jQuery Library?

The dimensions plug-in seems to be an increasingly-used dependency in
plug-ins. Often it's the <i>only</i> dependency.
At some point wouldn't it make sense to pull it into jQuery? That
would decrease the size of a lot of HTML out there, and speed loading
by generating a lot server requests for it.
