Move from 2.1.0 jQuery version to jQuery 3.1.0, I'm getting following error "angular.min.js:107 Error: Syntax error, unrecognized expression: #"

We are switching to 3.1.0 jQeury recent version. It was everything working fine earlier version of jQuery 2.1.0.

The version of jQuery 3.1.0 I'm getting issue of selector (#)
