Multiple jQuery slider handles?

Hi jQuery UI community!
I was wondering if it's possible (supported at a fairly high level) to
have multiple range slider handles in a single jQuery slider? I did
not see any example of this in the demo section, only of multiple
sliders.
The reason for my question is that I need to select multiple ranges
within a slider (e.g. time periods within a day).
Any advice/answers are welcome!
