My fade in-fade out newsticker isn't very smooth looking

My fade in-fade out newsticker isn't very smooth looking

I am using J-query for fade in-fade out newsticker & the text of it doesn't look smooth in certain browsers such as IE 7.0 & 8.0 on WINDOWS VISTA as compared to hard-coded text.

I highly appreciate any sort of help.
