Need help with mouse out fuction for a clickable link element in jQuery plugin

Hi, am using jQuery plug in for a hover effect with a clickable link element on a page. i need help in mosue out function.the link element is open untill i click on the close button and its not closing automatically when people move the mouse to another area..is there a way to customize this?
