Need Pointers to Get Started
Hi All,
I'm in the process of launching a new site, and I'd like for my home page to have an interactive banner. I've seen what I'm looking for on a couple of other sites. I'm new to jquery and would like some pointers on how to get started with building this. Right now I'm not even knowledgeable to know what to ask. Here are the two sites that I can reference.

The main banner on those pages rotates through images, and all of the content is indexed by search engines. That's what I'm looking for. Flash isn't an option for me, it won't work with my target audience and search engines can't see it. Plus, that wouldn't be a challenge :).
