Looking to make the switch from flash to jQuery as its the obvious direction of the web.

 

Currently our website ( www.farmersofsalem.com) has a flash banner with another flash file loaded within itself once the page loads.  Below that is just a flash navigation.

 

The effects dont have to be perfectly identical, but I'm looking to do something similar or maybe even better.

 

Can anyone point me in the right direction?
