Not possible to drag and drop images in IE

I just noticed that it is not possible to drag and then drop images elements with jquery-ui.
During the drop, the following error will come up:
this.placeholder is undefined or not an object
I noticed that the image gallery demo works around that bug by putting the images into a list.
I did the same thing and I'm fine, no help needed.
The bug tracker being down, I just put this email out as a future reference.
