on event click goes to external page

on event click goes to external page

Hi,
I have page with many links on it,on click of link it should go to some external page,where it has its reference on some particular line.I need a clue to do it.
I cant use a href b/c it would give back browser issue,so may be with use of cookies or so.

looking for some help.
