Parallax scrlling doesn´t work in fluid grid layout.

Parallax scrlling doesn´t work in fluid grid layout.

How can I add a jquery effect (parallax bacground effect) in a fluid grid layout? I download it from the web (the effect), I use it in a blank html page and all works correctly. Using it in a  fluid grid and no images appears and no effect.. why?
