Photo gallery (jqGalScroll) help

I am currently using jqGalScroll v2.1 for a gallery project:

However, he removed prev/next up/down buttons in this version for whatever reason. A previous version had them included:

However, since he constructed the code differently in each version, I am at a loss of how to get the prev/next arrows into the newest version.

Any suggestions/help? Thank you much!
