Does anyone happen to know of a way using jquery or any other javascript to apply a blending effect to an image? I'm after something similar to the Photoshop blending mode "multiply". Ultimately, the goal is to be able to have any jpg, gif, or png with a specific class such as img.multiply "blend" as it does in photoshop.

I know this might be a bit of a long shot, but does anyone know of a way to do this?

Any help or ideas would be much appreciated.
