Piclist validation using Jquery standard validation plugin

Piclist validation using Jquery standard validation plugin

Is it possible to validate the picklist field using  Jquery standard validation plugin.
If the picklist is '-None-' or 'null' it throws the error mesaage.Is any one help to get this answer?
