It works fine in chrome/safari on the desktop, but I load it on the iPad and the performance is poor. Embedding it in a phonegap app makes it worse. It usually takes half a second between tap and the selection change in Mobile Safari and 1.0-1.5 seconds inside a phonegap application. Is there anything that can be done to improve tap response time?
