problem implementing jQuery Tabs with ScriptManager

Hi
I am trying to use the jQuery Tabs UI.
Everything works as expected until I move the code in a page which has
a ScriptManagerProxy.
Is this supported and/or do I have any other steps to get it to work?
The error is that it simply doesnt reneder the tabs - I just get the
<ul> elements and their corresponding divs unstyled.
