problem with event propagation

Hi everybody !

I am totally new to jquery and i like it.

i am studying event propagation... and wel.. here my problem :

i have a login box that appears on clik
i found a jquery code helping me to click anywhere to make the button disappear.

problem : When i try to log, impossible to insert a username; the login box disappears.

any help??
