product display script

Hi everyone, I'm new to jQuery but would like to learn more about it.

I came across this website

if you mouseOver a thumbnail of a product, a larger picture appears fading in and doing a quick slide at the same time. On mouseLeave, it does the reverse.
Is this a plug-in? Is there any good tutorial that will teach me to re-create this effect?
