Range slider in jQuery Mobile?

Range slider in jQuery Mobile?

Hi,
I need to be able to set a range (1-10) in a form with jQuery Mobile but using <input type="range" can only set one value - not a range. 
I've seen discussions like this:

but It doesn't work that good.

Are there some other solutions?
