Readonly form in ui tabs

Hello, I'm having trouble with the ui tabs widget. I have 2 tabs, one has a form inside of it. The problem is that the form fields seem to be readonly. I tried preloading the form on the tab and loading it via ajax but either way the form fields are rendered readonly.

What can be the cause?
