Recreating Facebook Attach a Link with preview

Hi All,

I am trying to build a control that works like Facebook's Attach link control where when a URL is posted it grabs some images and text from the link and lets the user scroll through it and post it. 

Have you seen a control like that or if I have to build it, how would I start?
