Remember the milk!

Hi plugin developers,
we are over the feature freeze deadline. That means, all code /must/ be feature done and ready to use (not counting bugs). Of course, there is always room for exceptions (That's why we have still a week left), but it's absolutely vital to communicate with me (or additionality with John).
I'll take a good example: Richard told me right away he will not be able to finish the Tree by sunday (since he worked on that cool automatic testing stuff). Which is perfectly fine, because I've go the information and was able to plan right away.
However, the bad news:  Almost nobody (excluding Richard, Tane, and partially Gilles) did so, and there are many unfinished, even non-commited plugins. Okay, so there are apparently people who don't like writing mails. That's okay, I'm sometimes write-lazy myself: This is why I set up a Google Docs project sheet for /everybody to use/ .
<span style="font-weight: bold;">There are exactly 4 people (including me) who have touched this file until now.</span>
For me, it's not really imaginable why. It cannot be
a) lazyness (yo only have to type in percentages)
b) not knowing about the file (I sent several mails to jquery-ui, made sure everyone received it)
Now it makes no sense to argue at this point, so the following features will definitely /not/ make it into the release (until there's a immediate email to this thread about the state of the plugin):
- Menues (See the other thread)
- Form controls
- Splitter (only if I still have the time to take this one)
Please don't get me wrong - I'm actually looking forward to our release, and I'm very excited - I think we will see many great components after this week, but I had to write down the things that bugged me, so we can all learn from it. And if you think this is all bullshit, and I'm reacting way to harsh, I'd be glad to read a different opinion.
Thanks, and happy coding!
