Resizing Google Maps with JQueryUI - getSize() only works if Firebug is on
I'm resizing Google Maps using JQueryUI
(JQuery 1.4.2 and jQueryUI 1.8.1)
I then call google's map.getSize to get the new width/height.
Normally it gives me the old width/height (tested with Firefox and
Chrome).
If I have Firefox with Firebug turned on, it stores the new width/
height. Why does map.getSize() only work with Firebug?

You can resize by dragging the lower-right corner. Then use Save the
Link to trigger the map.getSize(). Then use the link and you will see
the width and height appear as parameters in the URL.
