scrolling to list divider items when click event fired on navigational index?

I need vertical scrolling animations should be fired on list dividers in JQM when user clicks on navigational index.For example if i have list of users in list dividers and an alphabetical navigational  index on top.when user clicks on "S" index then the list will scroll down to S users list and stop.Is there anyone worked on this.or any suggestions  will be helpful.
