Setting a date in datepicker?

Setting a date in datepicker?

Hi, I am rather new to jQuery and I have been trying to use the Datepicker. I have two dates from my php script that I want to set as defaults in two fields, but I am rather confused on how to do this. I know I must be missing something obvious, but it just escapes me. Any help is appreciated.
