showErrors and errorList

I have using jquery.validate.js and I just want if any error is there some files are not show in the page.

I am having application.html and In that file I pit 'validate' code, all works fine but, I dont know how to get error count on application.html.

Please if you any idear how I do it, then please share it with me.
