shows a "loading" while the iframe content it's not loaded

I have an iframe that loads an external page, but depending on the user's internet speed this external page takes too long to load and leaves impression that is a blank page.
I wonder if there is a way to load a "loading" while the contents of the iframe is not loaded.
ps: I do not have access to the site code that is inside the iframe
