I have a simple image gallery in mind using jQuery. It's not difficult. Imagine a gallery with nine pictures. When clicking, for example on the second picture this has to be enlarged with some information on the right side (from server using ajax) but the other pictures (including the second picture thumb) has to go to the bottom of the gallery. When clicking again on another picture, the large picture has to be replaced by the new one and so on ...

I think I can manage to create this or adapt existing code, but I'm a little stuck in how to enlarge the picture smoothly and let the thumbs of the gallery go to the bottom of the gallery in an elegant way ...

I can't find a tutorial to do this ... Can somebody tell me how this is usually done please?
