Simple splitview with query mobile 1.3

Hi,

I want to make an application with "persistent panel" on my page (and if it was possible with navbar at bottom of the screen !)

The most common plugins fork jquery mobile code but  Simple splitview  no !
It seems to me a very good plugin to do this.

But it is not compatible with the latest versions of jquery / jquery mobile.
I did not arrive to contact the authors
Has anyone tried to update the source code ?
