Site Preloader - Help Needed!
Hi Everyone,
I'm at an intermediate level with jQuery; I've been learning to animate, to select specifically and to do AJAX posts etc. I've been given a very trendy webdesign in work, which is going to have a lot of flash animations on it (roughly eight animations). The forseen problem is that when it's all made, the animations will sluggishly load one by one.
I'm looking for any help at all on how I would make a fullscreen overlay (the css won't be an issue for me, i'll get that no probs) which has loading text, and then when the ENTIRE page has loaded (i.e. images, flash objects etc) then fade out the loader div and show the site.
I just don't know how I'd go about waiting for all the images and flash animations to load fully, I've no idea how i'd select something like that, or what jQuery function to use; I looked into .load but don't really understand what I'd do with it or what I'd select.
Any help at all would be much appreciated,
