slider can't properly handle wide handles anymore?

My handle is a percent width of the slider. Before it would slide to
each edge and stop as excepted. The value would be the middle of the
handle. Now the value appears to be the left edge. Crazy things start
happening when I try to move the handle. Anyone else experience this
kind of behavior?
