Sliding Icon in Nav Bar
I've been playing with jQuery and I've had a lot of success with it, but so far I haven't gotten my hands dirty enough to write a script from scratch so I've been using pre-built ones. I've got a customer who wants an icon that slides up and down along the left nav bar. I've attached a sketch my designer made that kind of illustrates what we need.
It seems like jQuery could accomplish this very easily, I'm just not quite sure where to begin. Is there a plugin I should use? If I need to write it from scratch, is there a tutorial you guys would recommend?
