Sortable Question
I am trying to use a sortable to keep track of an ordered list that is
mirrored on a MySQL DB.
For example lets say we have this list:
1. My
2. Hello
3. Start
4. Dog
5. Cat
6. Bird
7. Example
8. Nice
9. Life
Now I sort this list to move item 9 before item 4 to show the
following:
Moved Change() Method
1. My
2. Hello
3. Start
9. Life --> 4. Life
4. Dog --> 5. Dog
5. Cat --> 6. Cat
6. Bird --> 7. Bird
7. Example --> 8. Example
8. Nice --> 9. Nice
My question is how do I determine that the 9th item is now in 4th
place so I can reflect that change in my DB? I will use the change()
method to enact any DB changes. Is this even possible?
