Splitter plugin using cookies not working in IE7

 
Hi, 
 
we download the latest version (1.5.1) of the Dave Methvin's excellent splitter plugin to use in a dynamic page.
 
We found that it was necessary to use the cookie option so the splitter plugin can save and retrieve the last position of the splitbar each time the page is loaded.

We tested this option in Firefox and it worked correctly, but it did not work in IE7.

This problem has happened before to anyone? Do anyone know of any solution?
