SPRY like Data for UI

I would like to see jQuery add SPRY like data features. (Or to
interact with EXT JS style data... both in fact.) When new data is
loaded, changed, added the system would know how to interact with the
data server. I am interested in taking an active lead role or support
role in this project if anyone else would be interested. (Or if it is
already on the build table.)
