Still missing menu?

Still missing menu?


I can see archived discussions of a planned addition to UI that would
include standard menu functionality. Posts in this group last fall
alluded to a probably December inclusion for the menu, but it seems to
be absent yet.
Any update on that? It seems to surprise everyone that it doesn't
exist. I don't mean to sound impatient or ungrateful--it would just
be helpful for me to set accurate expectations with managers etc so I
can talk them out of their ExtJS love affair.
