Superfish broken on narrow browser window

I have a site where the superfish sub navigation refuses to show up if the window is less than about 1100 pixels. This is NOT related to the "sf-smallscreen" or "sf-touchscreen" as I've disabled those and still see the problem. 

I believe the full drawn out superfish menu is wider than the window and it freaks out and tries to disable itself. Seems silly to me. I've tried many many hacks and css tweaks online to no avail. Anyone have any ideas?


Make the window narrow (just 1000px works) and you'll see it fail.
