Superfish / hoverIntent Wacky Behavior - What Broke?

Superfish / hoverIntent Wacky Behavior - What Broke?

Hi all,

I took over the maintenance of an existing Wordpress site that I did not create. It's original code is older, probably around 2010 or so. When I moved it to current Wordpress, a jQuery / Superfish slider on the homepage broke. It works but on page load, it slides constantly and not necessarily correctly. It eventually completes its cycles (it seems) and then behaves properly with mouse clicks.

My JS is really rusty and I'm not real familiar with jQuery much less Superfish, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

It appears to also use the hoverIntent plug-in.

The site is live and the scripts that are messing things up are simply commented out. Can someone please take a look? I believe you can use Firebug or something to temporarily comment out the comment tags around the JS code on the live site. If I need to provide access to a sandbox copy, let me know.

The site is www.greenerycaterers.com and the code, if you view source, is at Line 80-82.

It could have all just broke with jQuery updates in Wordpress, or deprecated code.

Thanks for the help!
