Superfish - nav bar style menu

Superfish - nav bar style menu

Hi all,

I need some guidance regarding the Superfish nav-bar style menu. I am not an experienced asp programmer by any means, so please bear with me. I am trying to implement the nav-bar style menu as shown on http://users.tpg.com.au/j_birch/plugins/superfish/ under the Examples section. What I would like to do is exactly what the example shows. A top level menu with a secondary menu below. When you hover a menu item in the top level the second level changes to display the sub-menu items available.

I have used the plugin on a test page and it is loading the menu and the sub-menu. But it is not exaclty the same as the example. In the example the sub-menu is the the same width as the top menu. And when you hover each top level menu item the sub-menu reloads with the items for that top level menu item. But the width of the sub-menu never changes. And the position of the sub-menu never changes.

The problem I'm experiencing is, the sub-menu is not the same width as the top level menu. When I hover a top level item the sub-menu changes as expected, but the width seems to be dictacted by the number of the sub-menu items. The other issue occurs when I hover a top level menu item, the sub-menu reloads to display the sub-menu items, but the sub-menu seems to be left positioned directly below its top level menu item (like the basic style menu the Examples page. Whereas in the Superfish example, the sub-menu stays at the same left position as the top level menu.

I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction? I am assuming that the issues can be resolved by some changes to one of the css files, but I can't seem to figure out which one. I've gone in and made some changes that didn't seem to make a difference.

As well, does anyone know if the menu itself can be resized? As in full screen or almost full screen.

I apologize, I planned on providing screenshots, but I can't seem to remote to my work computer. I can try to upload some screenshots of what I have by tomorrow.

Thank you in advance.
