switchClass and background images

switchClass and background images


Hi all,
I have two classes with different background images. I want to use
the switchClass method with an interval to fade between them
(basically I'm trying to do a highlight effect and want it to fade
away). It doesn't seem to work with background images... it either
shows one or the other.
Is there some other function I can use to smoothly transition between
background images on an element? Any help/advice greatly appreciated!
