switchClass doesn't work in Safari status

Maybe I misunderstand the way things are categorized in the Trac, but
it seems like this one ought to be upgraded to "critical" or a blocker
for 1.7 final:

I posted a comment on the bug about it, but wanted to make sure it
doesn't slip through the cracks.
(Yep, it's the personal pet bug that got in my way today :). )
