I'm an intermediate level web designer with very little experience using jQuery. I'm trying to reproduce an effect that I am seeing on John Mayer's website.

The navigation is made up of sprite rollovers that have a simple slide effect when you rollover. I'm assuming this is jQuery, but I am not familiar enough with how jQuery works to reverse engineer it and figure it out. I don't see anything in the navigation code that would be trigger jQuery. 

How does this work? Sorry if this seems obvious, but I just don't see it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
