Tab Stacking Order problem with drop down menu


I'm having an issue where the tabs are showing up on top of our drop
down-menu, in IE6.. of course. I've tried setting the drop down z-
index to 100, where in the tab css the only z-index is 2. I think this
should work, but it doesn't do anything in IE. Anybody have any ideas?
