Theme Roller Button Changes Size on Hover

I am working on a website that is using oscommerce 2.3.4 and a Theme Roller theme running jquery-ui-1.10.4. One minor issue is that the bold button text changes to normal on hover and the button shrinks. Rather than re-run the theme in Theme Roller again, I thought I would hack the jquery file to provide bold text on hover. I have been unsuccessful. Any suggestion you may have would be appreciated.
