Tooltip in IE 9

Have tooltip installed on a form and works fine on Firefox, Safari and Chrome. On IE9 the tooltip shows up at the top of the browser directly under the menu bar and runs across the whole screen. Also have datepicker installed and when you run mouse over the arrow for the month next it shows up at the top of browser as well. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
