Trac and Drupal Progress

Trac and Drupal Progress

Hi Everyone,
I've been frantically working, in the few spare seconds that I have,
to setup some form of bug tracking that we can use for jQuery. Pretty
soon, I'm going to be asking everyone to help dump all existing
bugs/feature requests into a system so that we have some hope of
keeping track of them.
Ok, so here's the current story:
- I originally tried to setup Trac, got lots of very weird errors, did
some research and found that my OS (Red Hat 7) wasn't supported.
- I recently installed Drupal and started messing around - it looks
good, lots of potential, however:
- On a whim, I tried installing Trac again - and it worked! I'm not
sure what changed in the meantime, but I'm happy nonetheless. So, I'm
going to chop down the current feature set to limit it to just what we
want, and then let people go wild on it.
An install of Trac will take care of the Bug Tracking, SVN Browsing,
and Documentation portions of the site - which will be very nice.
Right now the documentation is stored in a very crude wiki, which I
will port over to Trac's better one.
IMO, the most important part is the bug/feature tracking, which has
been sorely lacking up until this point. So - if you have any thoughts
on either of these systems, let me know - as nothing is completely set
in stone yet.
