UI/API/1.7.2/Dialog and current position

I've got a dialog box displayed on a page which is moveable. I want
to be able to get the position of the dialog after it's been moved and
store it in a cookie so the next time the user loads the page the
positions of the dialogs are retained.
Can you let me know how to do this?
